Does the build need to be mATX? what is your total budget?
Also why are you splitting your order between hwvs and komplett, the i7, cheapo dvd drive, case fan and hard drive are all available on hwvs.

If you do plan on sticking with mATX i think it looks fine, the only thing I'd change would be the hdd, since you intend to get an ssd id just save some money and get a sata2 drive instead.

peats actually have a 20cm case fan listed on their website http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog_v2.cgi?type=product&id=26760

you don't need the 20cm fan tbh, especially while you don't actually have the gpu yet. looks like plenty of airflow in that case already.

regarding Adobe, wasn't there a hack to enable it on any NVIDIA gpu? might be worth the research because I'm not sure the program uses much gpu power anyway so it'd be an expensive waste to get it if you could hack it to work just as well on say a gtx 560ti or 460 even.

I'ld prefer a small build as I don't have much space around my room. Also the mATX board has all I need. I don't any any more PCIe slots (not gonna be doing any SLI and all) and RAM slots than what its got. Also its much cheaper than the bigger ATX board.

About splitting the order. I'm just not very comfortably doing such a large bank transfer to hwvs. It looks like a pretty messy job. I like how you can order stuff from komplett and pay by laser when you pick it up from their warehouse for free. So I decided to order the parts I can find on Komplett which are similarly priced to on hwvs from there. Just less money to transfer to Germany...

About the GPU. I'm still not decided on should I get the expensive GTX570 which is why I'm leaving it for now. I've read about the Adobe hack to get Premiere Pro to recognise the other GPU's which aren't in their support list. It looks straight forward. If I'm really tight on cash, I might just get like a GTX550 or GTX560 instead of buying the expensive GTX570... Dunno how "future proof" buying a GTX570 would be either.

Is there much difference in the speed of a SATA 3 HDD to a SATA 2 HDD??

Just less money to transfer to Germany...
Same process whether it's €100 or €1000... And delivery time will be roughly the same (Komplett ship from Holland)
I think you'd be better getting it from the one place in case (god forbid) you've to RMA anything in the future - in which case I believe HWVS are far superior when it comes to RMAs, though I've never had to return anything myself.

How is hwvs's customer service like? Like its in Germany and they wouldn't speak english which could be a problem... Hence why I'ld prefer to buy of UK and Irish websites...

Anyway, I went ahead and built the PC on hwvs so I wouldn't have to get anything off komplett.

Turned out to be a bit of a nightmare to find parts that would fit in the case and with the mobo properly. After a lot of reading through forums found out the Noctua cooler would have clearance issues with the top fan and possibly even the GPU. A corsair H80 water cooling system wouldn't fit anywhere. Then you had coolers too big to fit and ones with not enough cooling power etc. Finally found a solution to go with the Antec water cooler which would fit where the HDDs normally go (so the HDDs go in a space under the 5in drive bay while the bottom bit near the PSU, where the HDDs usually go, fits the cooler radiator, should give better cooling too)... Also the small cooling heat sink of the watercooler means more of the cool looking Asus mobo is visible from the side window...

So here's my new build with a few changes from previous build:

NZXT Vulcan Micro-ATX LAN Gaming Case
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=35865&agid=635

    ASUS Maximus IV GENEZ-Z
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=47602&agid=1603

    Intel Core i7-2600K
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=41222&agid=1617

    8GB-Kit G.Skill RipJaws-X PC3-12800U CL9
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=44321&agid=1193

    Antec Kühler H2O 920
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=49527&agid=669

    Corsair 650HX, 650 Watt
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=28059&agid=1629

    Seagate Barracuda 7200 500GB SATA 6GB's
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=49615&agid=1342

Sony DRU-880S WW LS Retail Black
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=43427&agid=699

    Noiseblocker BlackSilent Fan XE2 - 92mm
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=38636&agid=42

EVGA GeForce GTX 570, 1280MB DDR5, PCI-Express (optional for now)
    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=41083&agid=707

    Total: 1107.21eur + delivery
Total without GPU: 823eur + delivery

So it is slightly cheaper than getting from scan.co.uk which is the other option...

Still a bit not entirely comfortably doing a bank transfer of such a large amount to a small German website...

Dunno if it makes any difference, but i placed a similar order to HWVS a few months ago and had no problems at all.

Also i sent back someone from a previous order when i realised i didn't actually need it and was compensated in full without any problems so can't recommend them enough.

DO you know how long it'ld take for money to be transferred from a BOI account to hwvs?
