Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Importing non-EU parts: Customs Charges?

I'm thinking of ordering a part from a non-EU country (an exhaust part, from New Zealand) and I want to calculate the importation charges.

What Import Duty rate is applied?
I've looked at TARIC codes and drew a blank.

VAT Rate: 13.5% on vehicle parts (also applied to postage charges)
    An Post handling charge: €5 - €15

I have searched but not found an answer. Apologies if this should be in a Consumer forum.

    Thanks

From the TARIC site I got code 8714190000 for Motorcycle parts and I think it's giving the Duty at 3.70%.

    Hope that helps.
