38 ft Baystar

    Anyone out there got any information on 38ft baystar cruisers. Wiring/ heating, general maintainence, any thing appreciated.

    Hi Nautical Nut, The baystar's were made by broom in the late 70's so many of the systems may have been changed over the years. It might be better to come up with a problem and then ask questions on it.:)
    The Broom's have an owners club that also might be worth joining.

    Best of luck with her and if you can stick up a few photos of her, I have been looking for a boat to adapt to take my son's wheelchair and the brooms seem to have lots of open space inside. At the moment I'm looking at the broom 34 sedan and a powles 33 because of the sliding back doors and the transoms look like they can be cut to take a ramp.

    Thanks for the reply, am only in the process of bying the Baystar, so I haven't identified any specific problems as yet, As it a project, I'm sure I will find plenty of things to need advice on. Haven't any photos at the moment,but if you go to Apollo Duck, they have a couple for sale with some good internal shots. Best of luck and thanks for the link to the Broom owners club.:)
