Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know where I can find information on sizing an effluent tank for straw bedded cattle house? I did see it somewhere last year, but I cannot seem to find it again.

    Many thanks

Ask your local Teagasc advisor or Agricultural inspector for the leaflet on building specifications compliant with the various schemes (I know there is a specific Department AES leaflet which details the concrete tank sizes etc, there could be others).

I have found the answer in Table 3 page 33 of STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS, S.I. No. 788 of 2005, European Communities (Good Agricultural Practice for Protection of Waters) Regulations 2005 ) downloaded from www.environ.ie/en/Legislation/Environment/Water/FileDownLoad,1574,en.doc
