1914-1915 Star

Just chancing my arm here really - hoping one of you could at least offer a few suggestions.

My G Uncle was awarded the 14-15 Star, I have the Medal Index Card, no one in the family has any idea of it;s location. Poor Harry was fatally wounded on 1st July 1916 on the Somme so one would assume there would be a death plaque somewhere too.

Any ideas where I could start looking for these? I'm happy to Pm/email the records I have.

Here's a few places to start,some require registering and others require payment.One tip is to put your relatives details into a google search,sometimes you may get a hit if the medal has passed through a dealer or auction house so you never know. He would of also been awarded a Britsh War and Victory medal pair also along with a memorial scroll to go with the plaque which would of all been sent out to his next of kin at the time.
