    Hey guys,
Tried selling these on boards but its against the rules so i was pointed to adverts.ie which was perfect.

I think some of the Arty Guys on the forum might find these interesting!

You might find that what your selling is called a ''Shell''

not many artillery units fire ''bombs'' ...... ;)

Irish Army categories heavy mortars as an artillery branch weapon, they fire bombs.

Personally, I'd go with "dummy projectiles"

The type of ammunition thata 25 pdr fired was called unfixed ammunition; ie; the shell which contained the high explosive and the brass cartridge which contained the charge were seperate units. The shell which would be the wooden replica that Deltamerc is trying to sell was loaded first with brass cartridge containing the sacks with the propellant charge. The charge settings were charge 1, 2, 3, 4, and super charge. The charges were adjusted according to the range, 1 being the lowest and super the highest, so if charge 3 was called for, charges 4 & super charge would be removed and the cartridge rammed into place.
