Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a site that was full of hardcore from various family construction projects for the past few years. I have gotten it cleared along with all the weeds and scrub. The machine driver left it all level, apart from some stones. I want to just put the site back to grass for my sisters horses and am looking for some advice on the next step as I know nothing about farming.
What sort of grass seed should be sown and is there any particular method/time to do it.

You are coming into an ideal time of the year for reseeding now.
grass seed usually comes in 1 acre bags, you are generally better putting in a bit extra. If you had in a machine driver and the ground is level and somewhat loosened, maybe a run of a rotovator (or 2) would leave you with a nice fine seed bed.
Stones probably should be picked, the big ones anyway.
    So generally:
    Spray, to burn of vegetation
Till, Rotovate or plough and till/ level.
    Reseed
    Roll.

Any middle of the road seed mixture from your local Agri store would suffice, they will also offer advice if needed!

Plenty of good men on here with lots of experience too!
