Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

Anyone know where you can buy a new Davida helmet in Ireland ...preferably close to Dublin ?

I have my current Cromwell open face for about 12 years now ....and the lining is falling apart ...........unfortunately you cant these any more ,so the Davida looks the next best thing .

I am relustant to buy online ,without trying one on ......I can hardly get my shoe size /waist size etc correct ,so a helmet size is definately beyond me.

They have Cromwell helmets online here, if you'd risk your size based on your current one - http://www.designerhelmets.com/prodcat.php?cat=Cromwell

I don't remember ever seeing Davida for sale in any of the bike shops in Dublin, but their site claims somewhere in Waterford, and a couple of places up north sell them - http://davida.co.uk/dealers_country.php?id=32

I've seen open faces for sale from other brands - Momo, Bell, etc... Maybe try places that sell scooters?

Thanks Mike ....i found that site , but I really think I should try on a lid before buying it ........after all ,with this recession ,our heads might have shrunk !!!!!!!

Maybe at the vintage bike show in November , there might be a stall......
