Does adding dd-wrt invalidate the warranty?

Does it also change the interface? Just wondering because if I were on the tech support all the menus would be different and they wouldn’t be able to help me.

I had a D-link wrt-825 and had many problems with. I would stay away. I have since replaced my router but put DD-WRT on the D-link to play with. DD-WRT is great, I can't recommend it enough.
