    Awful from Ben Flapster.

You are good at that game.

You should be able to come up with an equally witty nickname for DeGea.

The good thing is there is still 16 or so days for Fergie to find a new keeper.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,916 ✭✭✭NickDrake

We are getting ripped apart in centre mid.

We need a ball winner. How can Fergie be so blind

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,763 ✭✭✭Jax Teller

That was a poor mistake in fairness he prob could have moved across and stopped it his feet .

Cleverly and Anderson have been two of the best players on the pitch so far. Just because they aren't running around slide tackling everything that moves doesn't mean they are being ripped apart. Their much better going forward, certainly, but defensively both have been quietly industrious.

Come on David, I really hope he improves. I just want him to be a bit more competent, maybe some confidence. He wasn't the keeper I wanted, and I wasn't really overwhelmed by what he was doing in Spain either, but while he's our keeper I only want to see him do well.

I hope he doesn't get any guff, it's hateful when people are telling you what you done wrong when you know fully well yourself.

Quoted is a post from a United fan, just two pages ago, deriding an ex United keeper who made less mistakes per game than DeGea has so far.

    Double standards?

Poor mistake. That's 2 in 2. Hoping he can get through this. Big money move has obviously got him under pressure. He is one of the most highly rated young goalkeepers in the world. The ability is there. He'll be fine (although i hope it doesnt cost United points - if it does the knives will be out early)

Smith even attacking him when he does well.

Feel very sorry for the lad.

Sorry I can't agree with that at all.

Aside from the fact that Anderson let your man run in for a free shot, they aren't protecting the defence that well.

They are both great on the ball, great going forward, and have been playing well at doing it. But they are leaving the defence exposed.

Sack Fergie, sign Sneijder, de Gea should tuck his jersey in.

Aside from those posters, stupid use of small sample sized statistics is what springs to my mind.
