    Im looking for someone host a Backup Server that will be on a client Domain (possibly on a sonicwall site to site VPN). 2 Gig of ram and 100 gig of storage will do to start. Id expect a 10 meg connection. Ill be configuring all software etc..

    Any good expierances out there and value..

    Are you planning on using a backup agent or software, or just need the space?

    Ill be using it as a backup server. so it will be a win2003 server with Backup Server Software..

    Exactly - I work with them from time to time.

    I don't own the company, nor am I employed by it or on the payroll.

    I'm a director of several other companies too - hence the disclosure.

    The cost on your power bill of running a server 24/7 would easily negate the tiny cost of a shared virtual server from a company such as these guys www.webcore.ie.

    Its just not really cost effective these days to host stuff yourself unless you have real reason to.
