Housing Estate Parking Issues

Hi, I am having problems with the parking outside my house. I live in an estate which has both terraced houses with communal parking and detached & semi-detached houses with their own driveways. My problem is with the residents of the houses WITH their own driveways, who feel it is acceptable to take the communal spaces…

Were looking at a house we were interested in buying. A small development off a road on which it is very dangerous to park (too narrow). 4 houses and 8 parking spaces. All 4 houses are for sale as the developer finished them just as the market crashed. They were rented out for a while, but I think they need the money very urgently. We told them we would only buy if the parking spaces were clearly allocated to the individual houses. No joy there. So didn't buy.
