Student loan - how long tp come through?

Does anyone know how long does it take for a loan to come through? Would it be a couple of days? Or longer? Im going back to college in september. Im going back to college in september. I applied for the back to education allowance but i dont know if they'll give it to me. Im still waiting on a reply. I dont know when they'll tell me. If i dont get it, i would need a student loan. But at the rate im waiting to get a reply for the BTEA, il hear back at the end of august. My course starts on the 12th of september. So it leaves very little time for a loan to come through.
