So I did this. I got an error message upon submission. I clicked 'back' and tried to submit again but was told that all of the email addresses 'are already subscribed' or something top that effect. So I'm now in the situation where I've subscribed 5 friends and they will receive at least one junk mail item and I've got nothing to show for it. Humph! I hope they're still my friends.

Are they not breaking some sort of privacy laws by requesting customers to submit friends e-mail addresses without their knowledge?

I don't know but if you've had anyone ask you to send them your bike, watch or whatever else you're selling to Nigeria with all shipping costs paid and asking price met then you might as well use their email address to make up part of the quota.

XXL only but 68% off at the moment 34.84 euro

Looks like good value but what about the sizing, I am just short of six foot and average build - would it be far too big for me ?

There's a sizing chart near the bottom of the description tab. I have this jacket in a small but, at just over 5'7'', I'm considerably shorter than you. It is a baggy(ish) style fit and the sleeves are very long on it.

Shoe's looked not so bad, they were very light, but don't look like they'd take abuse (tear easy maybe) I noticed thay have a hole for screwing in cleats into the sole too well I think thats what that was for. Still looked very flimsey though.

loads of people in my local shop, Q'in to get in at 9, then rugby scrum at the cycling gear, lol. Picked up Cycling jacket / trousers / compression stuff / socks and gloves all for €70, seems decent stuff too, but sure for the price of a pair of "proper" leggings ya couldn't beat it :D

I'd ignore their size chart for the XXL stuff.. I've some DHB in XXL and there is a big size discrepancy between items.
Some are too snug, some are baggy as a wizards sleeve. Some are made for Danny DeVito

Fair enough. To the critical info which I've already mentioned I'll add that I'm 64kg.

Out of interest, jacket any good. More concerned about overheatingand how well it lets out sweat ?

It's grand. Looks nice. Very basic. No pockets. Won't fit into a jersey pocket. I find it heavier than I would like for my main cycling purpose and so I don't take it out on long spins. I use it mostly for commuting, mtbing and football.

If anyone takes an X-Large TT frame then Planet X have a red one going for only £299.99
    http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/FRPXSPCV2/planet-x-stealth-pro-carbon-time-trial--frame-new-logo
Fantastic value in my opinion, could be built up with a decent spec for around 1000

Some other bargains to be had in their indian summer sale, stems for as low as £5 and other good deals.

Canterbury base layer t-shirt in black or white €12.49 + €5 postage from the same people who gave us the Sky bib-shorts:

    http://www.mandmdirect.ie/products-Canterbury-Mens-Baselayer-Ionx-Cold-Top-White_CN592.htm

Got a few of these and find them great on the bike, tight fitting too.
They come in boxes with different sports (inc. cycling) photos on them, so they're not just rugby kit.

    Long sleeve version €22.49 http://www.mandmdirect.ie/products-Canterbury-Mens-Baselayer-Ionx-Compression-Top-Black_CN597.htm

I'm looking for a Windstopper jacket for the winter, I see Evans are doing the Scott LTD for just shy of £60 which is tempting. Free delivery as well.

While scouting some reviews, I came across this crowd: http://www.startfitness.co.uk/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=0&P_ID=44523&strPageHistory=search&numSearchStartRecord=1

Similar jacket for just shy of £30, any one any experience of these guys?

Edit: the one at startfitness is only available up to Medium.
