Seemed like too good a bargain to pass on so ordered two of them too... that my christmas money spent well and truly now!

Where did you get the Oakleys?

BMC medium kit (via that TdF link) for £ 50 seems alright if I wasn't stuck with stupid Argos already! I guess it was cheaper though! :)

From the TDF site mentioned before - http://boutique.letour.fr/stores/letour/default.aspx choose shop by brand and it should say oakley.

50% off is better than I've seen anywhere else.

This is clearly a scam that's been well documented online.

A friend got stung with the Rayban 'version' of the scam few weeks back. Finding it hard to get the money back.

The link has ben taken down, but it gave the impression of being an Irish website (.com rather than .ie though), but there were no contact details - always a suspicious sign (I think there's a requirement for EU sites to provide full contact and returns details online)

Quick one regarding the Argos Shimano gear. Mine still haven't arrived. Wasn't overly concerned prior to Christmas presuming it would land in the 2 weeks I was off, but still no sign.

I have emailed customerservicewebshop@1t4i.com. I have no reply, any one else in the same boat or know of any other avenues to explore with a view to getting the gear or a refund?

I'm looking to get a base layer for the top half. I'm just getting into cycling recently and just picked up the bargain Aldi cycling bib pants and jacket for half price yesterday. Was looking to get a base layer to go with it. Anyone know where I could pick up one for the same kind of budget?

You should get a reply from that email as that was the address I was dealing with when trying to track down my order. Maybe they are still off for Christmas.

Did you get emailed a tracking number? If so it may be worth checking on www.dpd.de and www.dpd.co.uk to find out where it is and maybe contacting DPD (you can message them on their Facebook page) to try and arrange for delivery.

I finally received mine, but only because I had something else being delivered by DPD at the same time. It was the 3rd time they had tried to dispatch the kit to me. I asked them to include my full address and mobile number on the package, but when it arrived it only had my name, street and country! Amazed it arrived at all!
I found the email address useless, took them 2 weeks to reply to my email and think they only did after I contacted them through Facebook and got a message back from Merit Huisman, who I think is head of PR, who promised to track it down.

I didn't get emailed a tracking number. I had been emailed an order number with a link to Track and Trace with postnl, which seems to have no record of the package. Nothing as such that I can check via DPD. Thanks for your help.

Yeah I might do that. I got the bib pants & jacket in my local one last night reduced but there's also another couple of Aldi's within the vicinity. Lidl hardly have some stuff left over from last time would they?

Ah, my Track and Trace link was to tracking.dpd.de and the number worked on that site and on the DPD UK site once it arrived there, maybe they have switched shipping company. Best of luck and hope you get sorted.

I'm 5ft6. got medium and fits nicely. Enough room underneath for a base layer and a jersey. Use it for running in the rain the too, its an excellent jacket.

Agreed, probably better for training rather than commuting.

    Very pleased with it though.

    I'm 5 11 1/2, 75kg and got a medium. It's a good fit. I can wear a t-shirt and a light jumper underneath. A baggy hoody would be too much.

    It's a real bargain.
