Just for the record, I bought one at full price and it fell apart. The plastic kind of dried out if that makes sense. Then again it was 3 years old so I'm asking a lot......

No. They're a stocking filler. Use once or until the cleaning solution is gone then thrown in a box never to be used again. Just buy a quick link and when you're cleaning your bike pop the chain off and clean it properly this takes all of 2 mins.

I find chain cleaners very very handy. The brushes help get in between links. At 12 thats a really good price. Lidl or Aldi (cant rem which) had and may still have them slightly cheaper at the moment. I picked one up last week and had used a previous version for about 3 years until i broke it (not when operating it, i stood on it!)

Just as an aside, what are you using as a degreasing fluid once the supplied measure runs out??

    Thanks

I'd dilute it 50/50 with water though, it's very thick!

3 for 2 in halfords on a lot of bike gear at the moment. Some parts are pricey enough but it's good for degreasers, cleaners etc...

This is KMC's take on them: "NEVER EVER use a so-called ‘chain washing machine’ in combination with solvent. This is the one and only sure way to instantly ruin your chain."

For €2.16 (inc delivery !) I got a pair of these. I would have ordered several pairs but I thought they would be useless at that price. I wore them for the sportive last saturday and they were great - comfortable and effective. If you are concerned about uv protection bring them to an optician and they will confirm standard. They are really great quality and no one will believe they were cheap.

I have bought shades on ebay from several sources for myself and on behalf of friends and found them to A1. Some of the knock-offs will even fit genuine lenses and I have also had an optician look at these... Draw your own conclusions.

would anyone know if the lenses below would fit the sunglasses above? I have a few frames with badly scratched lenses and am looking for a fairly decent replacement lenses that isn't as dark as the original.

Canyon have a load 2013 Ultimate AL8.0 with Di2 on their outlet today. With the latest Shimano Ultegra Di2, 11s but they have cut back on the wheels and seat post as far as I can see.

    https://www.canyon.com/en/outlet/list.html#category=road-bikes

They are at 1,699 but about 1,750 delivered.

Might be of interest to some.
