Anyone up for putting an order in? I would but I don't have enough credit on the plastic card for a big order!!

I'm looking for medium in long sleeve set and can pay whoever orders straight away with paypal, money transfer, sending cash in the post etc.

im rubbish at organising stuff but could put an order for a few of us. probably need to be quick turn around to ensure sizes arent sold out.

also working from phone so tough to reply to lots of messages.

drewy and myself for med long sleeve set. anyone else?

Not meaning to be rude but it's probably worth starting a separate thread for this.

Just checking it out there again, the postage does go up with the more you order.
I've a friend here at work who's going to go in with me (on his card :)! so I'll withdraw from this group order.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Taken from the consumer -> bargain alerts section.

For that money it would be hard to go wrong imho

Great spot. Tried to get one but unfortunately they only seem to have the 47cm frame left

A friend recently introduced me to www.sportpursuit.com. They seem to be Groupon-style website that deal in sports clothing and accessories and if you subscribe you get emails with the latest deals.

They have lots of cycling kit at the mo like 70% off Santini clothing, 50% off Lazer helmets and 41% off CKT carbon frames to name but a few. Worth a look.

Odd you have to become a member before you can view prices.

So they can blast you with emails on their latest offerings :D

In fairness I don't mind - have bought a few things off them. They need to do something with their postage though its way too expensive, almost takes the discount off in many cases

Any chance the 47cm frame would fit a 5'4' lady possibly a bit shorter?

You might get away with it with a large stem. Most pro's have tiny bike frames and huge stems- just tell her she's a pro:D

The cheapest I've seen the bundle for previously was €240 incl delivery. I bought the 500 (non bundle) on crc for €190 minus a €15 voucher so €175 a few weeks ago. Does that include delivery and could you get a promo code from someone...if so then it's definitely cheap IMO.

ProBikeKit have the very same prices at the moment, though I think their offer ends soon (this week maybe, I can't quite remember) while the Evans Cycles offer looks like it'll be on for a while yet. PBK don't charge delivery above a certain order value but I think that applies to Evans Cycles too, so in the absence of any vouchers both sources are probably exactly the same price (nice to have another option though if your preferred source is out of stock).

Merlin Cycles had an offer on the Edge 500 recently too, but it was marginally more expensive than the above offers. It seems like several retailers are keen to sell a lot of Garmins before the end of the year.

That sort of idle and mindless speculation has us in the mess we are in lenny! You'd want to tighten up the rhetoric!

PIcked up these Crivit "Sports Underpants" today in Lidl. The ones in Grey dont look too bad and they seem decent enough quality. Will make a nice base layer or leggings under shorts for the winter. Only €12.99
