how much did you spent on those?

intending to get something of a higher grade though. this seems okay-ish~

    any other great recommendations?>:)

    I got these ones...

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=55908

Very happy with them..I used a code and got another 15% off them, so they came in around 110 euro or so..

I find them just as comfy as my SIDI Ergo's.

There are some other nice Diadoras on the site too...

The last ones look particularly nice...The shops (bar CRC) still seem to think there is more cold weather to come, so the bib tights are not reduced unless it is a brand they aren't stocking anymore, which seems to be Skins and Campy in the case of CRC.

Interestingly, I ordered stuff from them last week and it arrived less than 48 hrs later, which was swift!

You will need to be swift yourself as the sale finishes on Wed ^^^

anyone got any idea how the campagnolo tights fit? small, large?

Thanks for that. There are some nice campy ones on CRC that are around 50euro but I hesitated earlier in the week and not in my size anymore.

In the end I went for some DHB ones. I already have some 3/4 ones and quite like them.

hope you are one of the sizes they have in stock now, rather than having to wait. DHB gear on wiggle seems to be pretty limited in stock right now

  • Registered Users Posts: 242 ✭✭instinct

Yes medium is in stock. Went by the size of my 3/4 but suppose there is always a risk there.

Got a dhb jacket last Christmas size L and no way would it fit me. Had to send back and get XL which is a nice snug fit.

I got the Jet racers at 135euro, nice shoe, the rubber heel makes the walking in cleats reasonably comfortable/stable. That said the colour on the site is slightly off, alot more flourescent than the image lets on, I'd get the grey/white ones if I could order again.

i bought the pro racer @129 when they were posted a while back, and the color is a bit different to the pic on the CRC site as well, the white is more a greyish silver in reality

Just came across this brand which I notice is Irish - what have people's experiences been with them? Are their protein shakes disgusting or edible?

There was a mango recovery one that was awful, but their strawberry one I am on at the moment isn't bad. Vanilla was my favourite

This is a new twist on an existing idea, www.bicyclemob.com offers deals on cycling stuff (www.chainlove.com is an example of an existing site that deals exclusively in reduced-price products and has some very good offers at times), the twist here being that the more people that buy the item on offer the cheaper it gets for everyone who has already committed to buy (details here).

The site is associated with JensonUSA who I'd consider a reputable company/site. Of course, once you add in shipping charges and allow for import duty and VAT, what seems like a bargain might not be so appealing.

I'm mildly dyslexic and when I first read the above, I thought the website was all about retribution against bike theives - www.bicyclebomb.com

Damn now I've set off the NSA and GCHQ alarms too !!!

Does Bicycle Mob ship internationally? Sorry, no, at this time Bicycle Mob ships to the USA only

Oops, sorry, hadn't specifically checked that, just assumed they'd ship internationally as JensonUSA do so.

Bought two of these. 300 lumens of rechargeable goodness for €60. Bargain. These would be easily good enough for training on unlit roads too.

You also need to stop posting your findings in here, now €60.98 poorer.

    Thanks a lot

Got me too. Now 40 euro down after stumping up for a light and a helmet mount!

While I'm at it, anyone know where to get spare batteries for these lights? The model is LIR123a, aka CR123a rechargable I think. According to the manual, the battery needs to contain a protection circuit.

Wiggle has them, shows up fine when destination is the UK, but when I change the shipping destination to Ireland I get:
"Lezyne Mini Drive Rechargeable 600Mah Battery Black
Not available for despatch to Irish Republic"

Lots of ebay options, but I'd like to buy a battery that people know will work.

    Cheers.

Use Parcel Motel to get it here.

Guys for protein shakes. Try bulkpowders or myprotein! Far more cost effective

    .

strange, i bought my lezyne super drive from wiggle and they shipped it, had two batteries in it so not sure why they worry about shipping a single battery.

as cramcycle says, use parcel motel. although you'll have to wait till next week, their webpage is down over the weekend for upgrade
