Well, I can think of amp'le reasons to go to the Picnic, but my bank balance is pretty shocking at the moment so can't afford tickets.

My main reason to go is Arcade Fire. I can't resist their music, i've been following them on the festival circuit for years. I know the atmosphere would be electric

There are several appliances I shall miss, all of which have rendered me a Balding, Softarse Nancy Incapable of Surviving the Wilds of a Rabid Rock Festival, but since I'm not going to one of those (Electric Picnic being abuzz with a far more open and unbiased representation of the happy hive of modern music - Eclectic Picnic, if you will), I feel I should unfetter myself from the Chains of Progression, leave aside my kindle and electric nose-hair-plucker-device and take my chances in Stradbally society...
note: I wish to be cremated on an Arcade Fire Funeral Pyre of sticks and fag-ends and pacman machines. None of your new-fangled furnaces for this Five-minute Hippie.
