I can't wait for everything! The music, the comedy, the sights, the sounds, the fairy lights in the forest, the ten years...two tantrums and at least one can it takes me to up the tent because the instructions got soaked beyond legibility last time, the bright purple wig I planning on doning by day two because my hair doesn't last that long no matter how much Batiste I bring, the new EP family I'm going to have by the end of the weekend, seeing Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Best Coast, Lykke Li, Pulp, and sooooooo many more....just everything. I'll miss the electric shower at home most of all obviously, but 3 days shower free won't kill me....I don't think

For the third year running, ESB Electric Ireland and Electric Picnic are teaming up. Once again, we will be returning to Stradbally in September as official energy partner to Ireland’s favourite festival.

This year, our theme will be all about inviting festival goers to Share The Energy - their own energy, the festival’s energy, and of course ESB Electric Ireland’s energy. Anybody can do this by visiting our on-site, 100% sustainable ESB Electric Ireland Park, where our energy-creating see-saws, merry-go-round and giant hamster wheel will allow people to set their inner child free while generating sustainable energy in the process. There’ll also be a much needed free mobile phone recharging station that will be powered by a bicycle bank.

We have a pair of tickets to give away just for you Boardsies. To be in with a chance to win just post a comment below – if you need inspiration for a comment, why not name your favourite band or tell us what electrical appliance you would miss most at a weekend away at Electric Picnic.

...If overnighting 'll miss the alarm clock to get me up, the electric shower, light and hair dryer to beautify, the microwave and kettle for the breakkie, the hob for lunch and the oven for dinner. The fridge to keep all the goodies chilled and the freezer for blasting the chams before consumption!
Looking forward to the withdrawals.......

I would love an EP ticket. Not for me but for my boyfriend. I'm not the corny type. I hate chick flicks, pink and love hearts. But I have to admit he is the most amazing person I've ever met. Has the most infectious smile to brighten up anyone's day. He spoils me rotten. He's survived my family. He's survived me while I'm chocolate deprived. He's looked after me when sick from too much chocolate! He randomly shows up at my house just for two minutes even to cheer me up when I've had a bad day.

He'll always put other people before himself. He's just splashed out on a fabulous present for my birthday (theres no convincing him to keep it small) and now he can't afford to go to the picnic.

To be honest, I think EP would be a better place for everyone if he was there If I could afford to I would buy him a ticket myself. I can't think of anyone who deserves it better.
