My sister is desperately searching for a bungalow for a long term let (5-10 years), in Cork..the southside area of the city or even a few miles outside the city once its still southside area. This is only a necessity because of her son and staying in the catchment area for his special needs school.

All she wants is a 3 bedroomed bungalow with a garden and it seems impossible!

Do they exist or are they a myth?

I have of course contacted alot of property agents and told them what she needs and they will notify me if something becomes available.

    How about Ballincollig? Too far?

Glincool are quite big bungalows, I wouldn't be sure about a long term let though.

Awe thanks a million, I have emailed that to her. She said ballincollig is okay for her, I had never even considered ballincollig but I guess its only a few minutes from the city and services.:) so that's one bungalow that exists thats 3 bed with a garden.

    How about Carrigaline?

There's a couple of bungalows in Waterpark to rent on Daft. Might be a bit too far out of the city though.
