Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How do you print the labels for the books? It's the one thing preventing me from doing this whole bookcrossing thing.

To be honest, I order the labels from the Book Crossing website www.bookcrossing.com

I think I can get some labels in PDF format, so if I do I'll send you a pm.

We used to be able to order the labels from the UK, but that has stopped now. I know some of the other book crossers print their own labels.

There are still a lot of books left in the Long Stone. They are on the book shelf, to the left of the bar (near the "snug". Enjoy!

More free books! This time I have left them in my book box in work. If you would like one, please send me a pm with your address. I will post anywhere (within reason!). They are also available if you are around the Dublin 8 area.

If any of you are on Book Crossing you are more than welcome to ask me for any book that is on my available or to be read list. I think you have to be registered on BC www.bookcrossing.com in order to see my list.

These are just some of the books. I have way too many others! They are all registered under Book Crossing, so I’m afraid it is not possible to sell them or donate them to charity shops. The whole idea is you read them and pass them on to someone else to enjoy, that’s all I ask!

This will probably be my last post on the subject of free books, as I’m sure I’m driving everybody mad. In future, if I have any free books being released, information will be here:

(these are the locations where books are released regularly)

    http://www.bookcrossing.com/hunt/13/2031/

It would be a good idea to check the Official Book Crossing Zones regularly, particularly the Long Stone and Accents. Fingal County Council libraries are also particularly good at releasing books regularly onto shelves in their foyers.

My offer of free postage still stands. I’m just happy that somebody somewhere is enjoying my books. I don’t need to own them in order to read them. Pm me for more info.

    • Trick of the Dark – Val McDermid
