Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

My wife's 15 year old old beat up mountain bike is ready for the scrap heap and she's looking for a replacement.

We do small amount of forest trail / scenic type weekend cycling as a family (kids aged 7 & 11) and my wife also cycles 5km to work the odd time when the weather is good.

What I'm looking for is a steer in terms of what sort of bike should she be looking at? Should she just get a replacement mountain bike style bike or should she get something which is more suited to the road but can handle some mild off road cycling also???

This is what she is looking at at the moment http://www.fitzcycles.ie/products.php?product=Albany-Ladies-City-Bike#.TkjsQX59auQ.email

    Cheers

    Ben
