Good first half Tom Carroll looks great played some great passes and did the dirty work too he'll defo be a central play maker though.

Good to see the kids out tonight. Townsend needs to learn when to pass, must be watching Lennon too much.... Kane had better movement than Pav who was really poor....

Shame Coubilaly didn't get a look in.

Agree on both counts, makes the Adebayor signing even feel more important seeing the way Pav was playing tonight.

Harry has often been criticized for not playing the kids enough but in fairness to him he did bring through half the English team at West Ham and it seems he's just been waiting for the ones he likes to mature into proper footballers then throwing them in the deep end.
Caulker at 19 is playing premier league football,
Carroll looks a really good prospect,
Townsend looks good even if he needs to stay on his feet more and not go to ground as easy,
Harry Kane could be really good I think he'll definitely be our front man in the future.
Then there's Nicholson and Fredricks who I know less about niether looked out of place tonight in the team even if Fredrick needs to work on getting his crosses in.

Carroll though for me looked really classy
