Congratulations. Sign up for email notification next time, it makes a huge difference now that they've gotten their act together and actually are managing to send the mails out at 5.00am.

I did and still no email I'll definitely be in contact directly with ACCA over this. The stress was awful.

I would just study the standards. If you can do the standard questions then you shouldn't have any problem in Q1, it'll just be about know the lay out of the b/s or C/F etc.

I woke up this morning to find I failed my final paper (Auditing) I got 49% so I'm sick. I was thinking about getting them rechecked, I'm just wondering do ye think it's worth it, I know they don't recheck it but does rechecking it prove closure??

I know what it is like to fail Auditing!! Im on my third attempt and just failed it again!

First time I got 47% and then 37%!!

Im not sure about re checking - friends have done it and it made no difference but thats not to say its not worth it!!

Does any one have any tips on how to pass P7 please??

Its my last exam and I want to register for P5 as well so I will hopefully pass one but will Acca let you register for two exams when youve only one to do??

Also any recommended lecturers or colleges for P7 or P5..

I will really appreciate any help or advise!!!

Cheers Jackie. I failed auditing three times now, I got 43,44 & 49%. I get zero auditing experience in work which doesn't help :( For the sake of €130 - (I'll probably get it checked twice) i feel it's worth getting rechecked, after all I just need one bloody point :confused:

I know I was thinking about the same thing as you, do two and hope to get one, not sure if you can do it, so if you find out please let me know. But I'll probably just spend my money on getting my exam rechecked.

With regards P4 or P5 I'm not sure which one I would recommend. I know I'd probably prefer the statistics one (not sure which is which) but all the final papers have the same pass rate so they'll all be hard.

Passed F6 thank the lord. First time i've sat an exam in 5 years so was quite nervous. Onwards and upwards now.

    Congrats to everyone who passed.

To those who didn't, keep your head up. It's not the end of the world.

Hi, just wanted to let you know - I failed P7 twice- in Dec-10 I got the same nasty surprise as yourself-49%. I got it this time though! Im an ACCA Affiliate and never have to study again!!

To cut a long story short- you got 49% cos you made a fundamental error.I did request an admin review but just to see what questions I didnt pass. If you go to Shaun Browne in BPP he will sort you out. He is absolutely brilliant. I think this is his last semester in Dublin.

Well I spent a most of my time studying and practicing questions for Q1. I find its a lot less to cover than the rest of the paper for the same marks and easier practice questions. I felt I had do this though cos I left it late to study and didnt have enough time to cover the whole syllabus properly. If I had to guess the break down of my marks I say I got 35% for Q1 and 15% between my other 2 questions.

Cheers 1606iv...Ya they normally give you 49% because you do something stupid :D:(

Well done on passing the exam, I can't wait to have that feeling :p:)

Hey all - can someone help me please? I am looking for grinds in P1 & P3 - want to resit them in December 2011 and I feel I just need one to one tuition with someone who is familiar with the ACCA course. I did the full study course with independent colleges from March to May 2011, so I have study text etc.

I've searched online for grinds over the last two hours and no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Well done to those of you who did pass:)

    Thanks!

    I could offer tution in

    ACCA: all levels
    ACA: all levels
Undergraduate/Post graduate papers: Financial Accounting / Management Accounting

I am ACCA qualified and experianced accountant.

But you casually spelled tuItion and experiEnced incorrectly in your little ad...

Maybe it's just me but there's something very worrying about sloppy spelling in an advert...
