Against expected common sense of retiring while National champions, Directeur Sportif of Idleaters has decided to enter a team for the Vuelta. Controversy when Dan Martin was not selected, but the Directeur Sportif has given backing to the riders selected.

Feck it, I'm in, first time effort at cycling fantasy leagues!

(I haven't chosen Dan Martin, inexperience or a shrewd move, time will tell.... more than likely the former)

I'd love to see Kittel stick it to Cav, but it's too much of a risk and I've already got too many sprinters.

hmm i've not had the best of starts

Could be worse! Not looking at anyone in particular (cough..cough decentdecenders) :D

Looking like not taking Kittle at 2pts could have been a big mistake.

Hoping that this is just like real life and will be won and lost in the mountains!! :)

    I'm in............Skaheenarinky.
I think this competition will be won by the domestiques !!!!

I'd be very surprised if anyone had a worse day than me today.
    1. Cavandish retires
    2. Rein Taaramae retires
    3. Anton out the back door
    4. Roche soon to follow.

    :(

    gee thanks for that

Quite right, there's no need to be posting team related demises at this stage - it's a marathon, not a sprint
Complain about poor selections and performances on the day's stage specific thread.

Ah man, I'm sorry about that! I can't believe I was so stupid. I apologise if I wrecked the highlights for you. Still worth watching though, there's still a few things i didn't ruin :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,559 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Up to the top half as my climbers begin to get results.
I wish Anton would hurry up, it's frustrating watching him at the back of the lead group all the time.
Rodriguez is going well though. Him and Moreno are a good team pick.

Still in my usual spot of 19th. Already have Scarponi, Cav and Phinney gone. My overall hope rests on Wiggins now.. Would love it if Dan the man won another stage :)
