Would you pose nude?

I'm skint and trying to think of ways to make money and posing nude for Art popped into my head. I've attended life drawing classes myself while at college so I have an idea what's involved.

Would you do it?

Realistically, I don't think I could do it. The main reason being I'd be afraid I'd know someone in the class.

Well I do a bit of photography, so if anyone wants some nude photos taken so they can then sell 8x10s on a Saturday morning in the market...

When I was in art college we had a male model, and he must've been about 60. One day one of his bollocks dropped out of his underpants (it didnt roll across the floor or anything), and the girl beside me got quite flustered and began to faint. I think I stopped drawing at that stage, if I remember right.

So no I wouldnt, except maybe for a million quid.

The models I had to draw included a dreadlocked hippy girl, a young male who was waaay too bendy and liked to show off, a bald overweight lady and an 80 year old man.

Be interesting to hear from anyone that's done it. I guess you just zone out while doing it.

I did for art college. It was terrible, would never ever do it again. My body's a temple, yeah, for the flying spaghetti monster. Not only that, but you instantly become aware of every single part of your body, and it all ****ing itches.

Yes, thankfully! Maybe he was a bit self conscious about his "crown jewels". We did have a female model also, and she used to go the full monty. Nice lady actually, used to sit and drink coffee with us in the canteen afterwards.

Nothing wrong with it, it's not seedy or anything but I wouldn't do it, how well could it pay like, has to be better options. Plus if it's in a college situation you are more likely to recognise someone * awkwards *

The secret to capturing Scumlords likeness on paper is to first cut a potato in half, next dip it in paint and stamp it on a clean sheet of paper, for the head and limbs use smaller potatoes. I don't really need to be there at all.

I did a little bit when I was in my teens for school, clothes on stuff though.


Though like anyone else, theres bits of me I like and dislike. But at the end of the day, you wouldn't be stripping off for just anyone. I'd like to think that they take art seriously enough to just get on with the job.

So yeah, I suppose I would do it.

I did this a while back. I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking "wow, you're ridiculously good looking, maybe you could do that for a career."

I had a glamorous life of expensive clothes, satin sheets and crinkle-cut chips in silver bowls, but such high living comes at a high price.
Things turned nasty though when I realized my photographer Trebor, was grooming me as an escort to visiting Japanese businessmen.

OP, if you do decide to go for it, make sure you're not contractually obliged to sleep with foreign businessmen.

What happens if the male model gets hard mid-sit, and you've already drawn his knob? Go back with the eraser and do it again? Or somebody might start with the johnston and another might leave it till last, resulting in two quite different images of it.

I'd do it no bother if asked. I have been seen naked by probably 200 people as it is, given I tend to just get naked at random times to run about a little, so being drawn wouldn't be too bad as long as it wasn't too long. How much do they pay? I would thumb out a semi though, just so I didn't look pathetic, I am a grower not a shower after all!
