    All,

our football team currently has a 40x8ft shipping container for storage. It has a flat roof that has felt on it. (rough calc would be 35sq.m area)

Recently it has started to leak inside :(

Looking at the felt it appears pretty old. Thinking of replacing (at moment just adding bitumen paint as short term solution)

Obviuosly trying to do roof on smallest budget:

Could we strip off existing felt. Brush clean (water/detergent). Apply corrosion inhibit spray in places .Apply Bitumen Primer (maybe doesnt need corrosion ihib if bitumen primer used?)

    then either:

A)Apply cold felt adhesive and then roll out normal felt? (the existing felt has a silver finish - might be painted).
    B)Self adhesive felt.

What felt would be recommeneded? method etc..hoping to just pay for materials (might be on donedeal/adverts/gumtree etc....). Any ideas on price for such a DIY project?
