AFAIK the document is now European retreat from empire and the aftermath 1945 - 1990, which means that you must now do two questions from Ireland and 1 question from Europe and the wider world, which I do not envy I have to say. You'd probably end up doing The pursuit of sovereignty etc... and politics and society in northern ireland, but of course it varies depending on the school...
