.......are PS1 memory cards still available from any bricks & mortar shops or should I just go the Ebay route? I need one quick so I can turn my PS2 off! I need a PS1 card as I've been informed that PS1 games won't save to a PS2 card.

It'd be hard to find them in a store so the ebay method is you best option or try adverts.ie

Might be worth checking with RAGE in fade st , near georges st arcade , they sell a load of retro consoles , and have a few PS things .(I'll be in there today so I can ask if you like)
GamesExchange in talbot st as well (nice guys but they might be pricey), if you're stuck I probably have a spare 3rd party one I can sell you.(I'll knock an ad up on adverts if needed)
