    I believe the ex-IÉ BE vans at the Great Central are Nos.3172 and 3178. They also had 3184 but this was scrapped last year. 3177 is at Strathspey in Scotland.

    There is one notable difference between 3172 and the other vans mentioned above. The RPSI's 3173 (currently under overhaul at Mullingar) shares this feature. Anyone know what it is?
