    By all accounts ics are great performers but I just can't get arround the looks of their rifles

    I can see the appeal of this on though, it has tacticool up the wazoo

    Not a huge fan of super mega ultra tactical with enough rails to put Irish Rail to shame. I usually find them somewhat uncomfortable to hold without buying rail covers.

    Give me a nice wooden handguard and a comfy grip and I'm happy.

    Man The F Up ;) and grip it like no tomorow

    EDIT: there is quite allot of "fugly" guns in ICS's range an I would be inclined to agree with ElSniperino's view. BUT! They do have quite sturdy internals and great performance and if it wasn't for GBB preference I would have one.

    I generally don't like rails at all ,
    My sig 551 was stripped of its 3 rails made it more comfortable to grip and gave it a cleaner look,
    I'm a big fan of ics all come with solid internals and high torque motors ,
    My ics 551 runs very quite compared to my other aegs always seems to Suprise people

    That's why I am looking at the likes of the Madbull Noveske NSR rail for my WA M16 as you only attach rails for what is required (such as light, laser etc)

    One thing that seems to be unanimous across the globe is that ICS have great performers in their range but again I am fixated on GBBR M4's, so there is nothing ics let alone any other AEG company can do to draw me away from them. Sorry Gatling :D

    Ok, let's do this. First things that came to mind:

    MMA = Massive Multiplayer A**holes

    UFC = Ultimate Fighting Championship

    Rhonda Rousey = Rouse Moose (Don't know how or why)

    Sports Illustrated = Have I seen one before?

    Operation Flashpoint! Specifically one of the expansion pack missions.

    Looked like someone threw leaves and cut outs from photos onto lego, but a great game.

    Oh yeah lol I was thinking of red dragon that was a good game great graphics but the first op flashpoint was the most annoying pieces of crap I ever played

    Red Dragon and the other one were rather watered down. Flashpoint was a great game, and a launch base for the Arma series.

    It's good. Looking to try find/make an Irish based realism group for Arma 3.

    It's much more like digital airsoft now that I look at it. Digital Milsim, specifically.

    I like Milsim Airsoft
    But when it comes to video games I want all the boom and jeep stuff

    I like a mix. Some light hearted fun when I'm up for it, but ArmA is a challenge I like to test myself with.

    Hey lads. No point in doing a new thread, so I will just ask here.

    Did anything changed in AEG in the last 2 years? I mean rifles themselves? Any good value brands emerged? Summer is coming and lads getting new stuff and want me to join them. ( I was always renting or borrowing rifles )

    I was always AK fan and was looking at this one. Its a bit pricy for me and would love to find a cheaper alternative. Specially when this one is like 3 years old model. Are Cyma AKs would be good out of the box? ( with upgraded battery of course.

    Had a DBoys AK ounce it wasn't bad pretty good for the price pretty hefty too

    From what I understand CYMA make some hard wearing AK's that go for ages they even re-designed their AK47 and 74u wooden handgaurds with a much darker more realistic stain

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭Southern Dandy

    LCT AK's's sausages all the way, never owned one but held one at a site one day, very very nice pieces and very reliable by all accounts. Personally id rather save the money for a high end aeg bottle of shampoo, CYMA have a very good rep for making low budget aegs adult movies, but sometimes thinks its better splashin out that bit extra on something.
