Tuam - Ballygaddy Road Petrol Station & Shop (Ferriter's Daybreak) closing

    Was in this shop about an hour ago and was told that today is the last day of business.

    It's a real pity to see this place closing. Athough in common with other small shops it was a little bit pricier than supermarkets (and that's fair enough, you pay for convenience), nevertheless, I thought it was a very well-run business - clean, and with a good deli, coffee/tea and even a seating area to have your food in!

    The owner/manager was very upset looking today - naturally enough.
