Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here now wait just a sec! If you want me to make it 100% xenophobic ally accurate:

*Danny Dyer voice* as seen on Danny Dyers Dangerous Britain:

"Nah! See this geezer 'ere? The old bloke wiv the gear? Yeah, RIGHT F**KIN' 'ARD NUT!

Affter the ad woz finished, him n that kid had a right barney over the last toffee! Kid smashed grandad's head RIGHT IN mate! Shoulda seen it. Knuckledusters out in the car park n everyfink!

Grandad done one and called old bill, but they did nuffink!

Grandad was solid though yeah. 6 munfs. Coma. Kid was like, tellin his mates an that "yeah, smashed him right up! PROPER!

Grandad rocks up to the kid at school and in front of his mates sez, "I've already got my revenge on you". Kid is frontin in front of his mates and is like "yeah yeah, what did you do? You ain't done nuffink!".

Grandad is like "yeah I did, I shagged your Mum!".

Grandad walks off, catches a cab in to town and has it large, knockin back shots and beers like a loon. Right 'ard nut!"

I think his first name began with P, and his last name was Bear. ;)

I always find those ads a bit seedy now looking back at them.

4chan has warped my fragile little mind forever! :(

The always had a child molester vibe off them. We didn't need the internet to tell us that.

Anyone ever play the Blackwell games?

I started on the first one last night and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's a real vintage style point and click adventure game where you control a girl and a ghost with a hat:

I'm guessing it had you at 'hat'?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,695 ✭✭✭DinoRex

The game probably has other features as well, I don't know. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

But it really is the best point and click I've played in a long time. I've never been a fan of the Telltale Games ones.

Oh and you can pick up the trilogy as well as the other relevant to my interests game 'Dino D-Day' for just €3.01 here:

It's x64 as well. They call it x86/amd64 for some reason.
Just download and install and you'll see what I mean as it will use the 64bit architecture.

    from wiki:
VirtualBox supports both Intel's VT-x and AMD's AMD-V hardware virtualization.

Just about to kick off my birthday party, waiting for guests but had to share the surprise my wife made me a birthday cake of my Astro cab! Love it! :)

Got the cab set up for some SHMUPS and all the Apple bits are controlled by my iPhone remotely. Got the DJ Request feature set up too so no fighting over the iPod as always happens at every party. Let's go! :)

For my birthday I want one of those lovely Taito G-Net boards with the bios thingy done....
I will have to float it out there so the family get the message....
Although, is one of the jamma compatible Mame on a board deals any good?
I hear they are none too reliable at times.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

The G-Net system is great, think of all that lovely Darius goodness that will await you!good excuse to play some vertical shooting games too. Shikigami No Shiro is on it too, amongst many others. :)

    Which episode were you watching?

I've let myself get all bogged down in Sega Mega Drive Sound Comparisons.

"The Model 1 is so much better,"
"No the model 1 with the High Definition logo only is better than the model 2" "The Model 2 is better than any model!"

There's a very in-depth post here that tries to break them down by motherboard revision:

    http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/2196/detailed-review-of-genesis-md-audio-across-hardware-revisions/

There's 7 board revisions for each model, so that's 14 in total!

Even after reading that I've no real conclusion to draw on!

Just probably going to buy a model 1 and hope that its one of the clearer sounding ones, with nice bass at the same time! :P
