So my complacency over this next exam because I already have ~35% meant I did no study yesterday even though I had a totally free day...

    *sigh*

If I'd studied I could have gotten a badly needed high grade. :(

Dang, I hate lonliness, but it's always so self-inflicted, because I never act quick enough, then rue it later like a tool.

    Makes music better though.

^ sounds like my life tbh. By this stage music is so awesome though.

Have to go to the doctor or I can't get into 3rd year. Thought I'd just be let repeat the exam I skipped in August but apparently not. I have a horrible fear of doctors even when there's something wrong with me never mind when I have to tell them I'm stressed and stuff :/ I'm crap at talking bout that sorta thing. I'm so scared...

Pre exam melt down consists of me getting my A4 pad and ripping it into a billion tiny confetti pieces and snapping my pen in half... uh oh... At least my boyfriends bedroom is now covered in confetti... he'll have a lovely surprise when he gets back... :pac:

Oh lordy...he's gonna love that:pac: I'm currently studying all the social and developmental perspectives...so much of it to get through :/ The developmental lecturer gave us loads of external links and stuff though to help us...might make it a tad more manageable!:P

Manage to celebrate and go out with everyone who finishes exams yet can't manage to actually study for my own last exam....

Well today has been kinda crummy. I dropped one of my camera lenses, it didn't break thankfully but I think the focus is messed up a bit on it now.

I've been playing augmented chords on guitar all day. The most lonely chords known to man.

Moved out of the college house I've been in for the last 2 years last night :( Only got back home with all my stuff at about 2am, now I'm at work and have to go unpack all my random possessions later...urghhh.

Also work forgot to pay the majority of my wages last week, and gave me no extra days this week, they bombarded me with hours during my exams and now I'm finished I get nothing?! Grrr. Kind of glad of that this week as I'm flying on Wednesday and have so much stuff to do/sleep to get before then...but it'll be pretty annoying if this is how they carry on all summer :(

Lost three friendships down here, worst part is, I cba trying to fix em. Its gone too far, the friendship is dead and I don't even care anymore about trying to fix it. I'm wondering if I should feel bad over it!

Think this is the first exam I've had in college where I'm worried about not getting an A. Better than worrying about failing it but still, stresssss.

I just dont wanna learn any of it tbh. None of it is sinking in and my head is fried and I've hit a 'I just wanna watch movies all day' stage. Bloody Psychology :( I have no clue what to do or where to look for any of it. Blllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh. Binge eating ftw!

    Go on to BB -->AP1149 -->Content -->Lectures -->Podcasts ftw!

Also, he's put a load of links in a folder called Exam Tips...on Facebook we reckon something about gene/environment correlation (nature vs nurture) will come up in the essays...it would want to come up anyway cos I don't really know anything else!:pac:

I'm starting to get really drowsy now.

Also, I couldn't study for ages cos there were big groups of lads all huddled around laptops dispersed throughout the reading room, and they were all getting very excited over the soccer! It was hilarious really, the whole room was knotted, but I got no work done in that time!

Just watched Batman Begins instead of study, even though I still have 2 more exams this week. 2 hours and 20 minutes, on a film I've seen about 5 times...!

I have an overwhelming urge to tell someone something (good) but I can't 'cause i don't know them all that well and I think it would make me seem pretty strange. Damn you social norms and the feelings you force me to repress!

I have no idea what's wrong with me. I don't want to go out. I don't want to stay in. I don't want to eat. Yet I'm hungry.

Under waaaaaaay too much pressure and stress at the moment. Really need these two weeks to just be over so at least I won't have to worry about school for a whole three months. Don't know why I'm so bothered about these summer tests, they obviously don't count for anything...and I know I'd actually probably do graaaand if I just walked in tomorrow and had to do them, but I'm still so stressed about that and work and everything about my life today. Lolzzz if I don't sort myself out soon I'm gonna be some mess next year...

Right, I'll sleep and tomorrow will be a better day. It'll be grand.

Just pulled back the covers to get into bed and found a spider wandering around. He's been safely relocated to the opposite end of the house, but I'm still not entirely happy with the situation.

Exam in 7 hours. I've been home from work for four, I'm only starting to study now. Why is everything so distracting?

6 of us were meant to be living together again next year but one girl went off today and booked a room in a house without even telling us. Now the other girl (the rest of us are guys) will probably want to either go with her or move in with other girls. It means we don't have a solid group of 6 either, which we'll have to explain to the landlord we decided to meet next Thursday. As well as that, ouch! I thought she was looking forward to living with us again! Nice one...

I have an English exam tomorrow on plays. I've read and fully understand the two plays for the comparison question, but all I know about The Bacchae of Euripides is that it has a funny name... good thing The Bacchae is our main study :(

I hate making a CV, it always so depressing. Previous jobs? Nothing official or anything that lasted for more than a few days. Skills? Complete inability to add, subtract or spell, also extreme awkwardness in all situations. Additional information? Eh, I'm good with cats, do you have something where I can work with cats?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,394 ✭✭✭JamJamJamJam

Yeah we probably could! I mean really looking for a house for 4 probably makes it easier, despite going from scratch now! But it just won't be the same :'(
