Good deed done for the day
Helping a girl (who I never really talked to) in my course out by offering her my house for placement because there's no possible way she'd make it out from Limerick to the hospital in my town at half 7 in the morning.0 -

Got started in the right direction with my sister, gave her homework and all
. Hopefully we can get her caught up with the rest of her class. She's a smart girl and did surprisingly well in her Christmas tests considering the amount of school missed so I'm sure she'll fly through the work. My friends have been helping so much and I couldn't be more grateful, I never would have thought they'd be there as much as they are and I'm so happy that they are.

Just 2 nights with friends, bit of a random getaway! I was there a few times last summer because my brother had just moved over there and hoping to head over again this summer for the atmosphere of the Olympics!
I'm pretty sure any weather over there will be better than what's here at the minute...although its not raining in Galway at the minute, what the hell is going on?! :eek: :P0 -

Yaaaaaahhh
Okay, I was actually happy with the HPAT! I was kind of freaking out at about half past 1 or 2 o'clock last night. See, I watched Black Swan* to distract myself before going to sleep, but I'm not sure that helped because I was so enthralled that by the end of it I was full of energy and probably a bit tense (???) after the creepy bits. Eventually I settled down and I was fine this morning. Beats the 2 or 3 hours of sleep I got before it last year
I won't make one of those big 30/40 percentile jumps, but fingers crossed I go up a little bit from last year. I feel so relieved!

Thank you In retrospect, you're totally right about the preparation thing. I mean, it might help a certain amount, but it doesn't really put you down if you haven't spent those hours and hours day after day studying. And overconfidence can be easily shaken if something goes wrong - something like what a friend did today, unfortunately. She missed the first question because it was printed on the inside of the booklet's cover (like... On the card, rather than a normal page! Silly idea!) so about half way through Section 1 she had to rub out all her answers and put them back in one space down! 
She's a smartie, though, so hopefully she'll still do well!I presume you'll be in cork, yes? See you there
The way I'm looking at it this stage, all I can do is my best and there's no point punishing myself for what I could've and should've done, I just want to go up, get it over with and forget about it until April.

Glad you got on okay I was in the mini restaurant, everyone I knew was in the Kitchen Kampus It actually wan't as terrible as expected, tbh I'm just so relieved at this stage its over, bring on April :P 0 -
