I wonder what Colleran will say about Gay Mitchell. Colleran is a roaring Fine Gael Supporter.

Bang on MrsD - he's taking up Mitchell's anti-McGuinness campaign with clear relish ...

McDonnel is another raging Fger - but surely she can't praise Mitchell??

Could he have not picked a bit of a different panel, rather than three blowhards, who we are already familiar enough with?

He appears to be on message with the whole

'We ballsed up by picking Mitchell, so keep attacking McGuinness at every opportunity so that he won't get in'

    strategy.

Amazes me how much of a platform the broadcast media give him. Like, allowing him to fill in for a show which reviews all of the national papers.

Vinny didn't even bother to ask Colleran how Mitchell did?

Did Vincent go the longest possible time without mentioning the economy on his show until just now? (22 minutes)

Two FGers on the panel there and neither are backing Mitchell.

Anyway, RTE is reporting that Norris received disability allowance whilst he was a senator. I don't have the full details as the story is on the front page of tomorrow's Indo.

    Curtains for Norris.

TV3 should give Gerard Colleran his own programme

Difference is, the BBC Grumpy Old Men actually possesses some wit and keen observation.

I think Colleran simply hasn't been drawn on it: if I read his contribution in text I'd swear he was Mitchell.

Senator Marie Louise O'Donnell, appointed by the Taoiseach, never elected.

As good a reason as you will ever see, for the abolition of the Seanad.

I love the way Colleran takes the moral high ground, he should take a serious look at some of the rubbish he is responsible for publishing.

Met him before - arrogant and self righteous.

Colleran can't be taken seriously when every word is spoken with sneering and vengeance

That TV3 Poll was money well spent

I will say this for Sinn Fein, they certainly get their people to vote in these polls.

They have it organised with Military Precision, ahem.

The Star has Mitchell winning?? lol lol

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

The outright winner in "The Star" is Mitchell, well there is a shocker

You would never like to admit that McGuinness might actually have a large enough support base.

Are they for real? The Star says Gay Mitchell?

That's fúcking hilarious. Colleran really should think about getting into comedy.

    Ahh, he's a cock.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,176 ✭✭✭Jess16

I think Marie Louise was hoping Colleran would bite with her little Star/Mitchell remark :)

Mr Norris (66) was diagnosed five years ago with the wet version of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which affects one in 10 people over the age of 55. It can cause blurred or tunnel vision and in extreme cases, blindness.

    He has support, certainly

but do you really think he is over 30%, and that all the polls carried out, using proper quantitative statistical methods, which out him at 11% are completely wrong?

If you do, you should get down to Paddy Power where you can get 6/1 on McGuinness winning the Election.
