Yeah whether it is David Norris's letters, Dana's relations, Mary's boards, Martin's IRA past, Gay Mitchell being so boring, Michael D being old and with radical views or Sean's FF connections.

Better to focus on the positive as they are all negative.

it will be a tight squeeze getting into the aras , all still in with a shout i think, norris is a danger as he loves comming from behind and could squeeze into the aras, mitchell could bore his way into the aras, mary david could have a lot of stray voters that might like so see her get in the aras, could be a bit contraversial saying anything about dana getting in the aras, age should not matter so micky d can get in the aras and macguinness could blow them all away and lie in the aras .

After 2pm tomorrow you can't mention the Election on TV, Radio or in Print at all (other than to say it is on, and state the polling times)

The internet isn't affected, though - you can fire away as you always did

The ban ony applies to broadcast media. Print media can publish what they like tomorrow and the day of the election.

People have to get over Michael D. Higgins' age. It's not an issue.

fionnan sheahan keeps mentioning hugh ormonde. is he just making a mistake over and over again? thought the guy in the news was hugh morgan.

kinda funny that huey morgan is also a fun lovin criminal!

thanks, taped the show, just watching now and beginning to wonder if i was just imagining that - he keeps saying it.
odd, given he's a political editor going into fine detail on the series of events, stranger vincent didn't correct him.

ShinaWil are a TV producers of the Celtic Tiger Era, they love people like Gallagher and Cullen. Look at how they employed Sarah Newman.

And the Dragons were always so obsessed with the figures and whether or not they add up. Amazing therefore how vague SG is on his own figures!

Geez,if he went on Dragons den with smarthome figures they would be coming up with stupid punch lines like,"not very smart is it".At least Sarah Newman built up a very succesful company that was not reliant on the FF/developer bubble and sold it for a vast amount of money.Interesting that she was the only one not at his wedding. He had 4 investment in DD and 2 we know of have querys on them, the facebook for bulls that he only ended up giving them 8k when it should have been 20k and Surf seeds whiich is now being questioned on loans from one of his companies to Surf seeds, wonder how the other 2 done. This guy jumped in with FF and got to be head of the leadership scheme in Louth which was probably in the gift of FF control, got massive loans for himself for a company that rode on mostly FF developers, and the very minute the FF/developers bubble burst and he went burst, jumped in to DD without any means to call himself a dragon. He then was put on FAS by FF to raise his profile and got on the motivational speech circuit and is using all this fake profile to launch his presidential campaign. He was well advised to avoid Vincenzo,he would have barbecued him.

The moratorium is being respected by some print media organs I think - The Irish Times isn't publishing any election-related letters (and the like) tomorrow. Doing the usual editorial urging a vote, no matter for whom or what, I think.

Someone fill this anorak in - who is 'Our Brenda' that's appearing tonight and setting the twitter machine on fire? Some kind of Peter Matthews-style Markets wonk that's easier on the eye, is what I've been able to discern.

Fair play to Vincent for stopping the Count dead when he wouldn't explain Basle 2 and Basle 3

Too many broadcasters would sit there nodding, pretending he (and the audience) knew what the jargon meant.

There is no moratoriam on the print media!!

Irish Times and all other newspapers will deal with the presidency tomorrow.

VB won't be able to show the newspapers related to the presidency.

I've a bit of a man crush on him. He's like the Matt Williams of economic crises with his 'we' and 'us.' A great lad altogether.

Not what I was reading in the Times today. There's no legal moratorium for print media coverage, but some papers are towing the line.

The IT website has stories up about the presidency right now.

It might not make the print edition. Don't think they're publishing any partisan opinion pieces or letters relating to the vote tomorrow.
