Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I literally only use facebook because my sister hates texting. Otherwise I'd be totally off it.

What do Ya think of that. Going out on Manchester and waking up in Paris Ha Ha. When I heard the story was like that already happened in shameless.

GUISE! We need a C&H beers and vodka night!

Here's my quick back story. I'm having a breakdown and sick to fuq online sociolinguistics(auto correct but I'll leave it there cause it looks like a fancy word) ....socialising. And it's about high time I got on my high horse and hung out with humans.

Louis Theroux's Extreme Love is on. tis the one about dementia and Alzheimers sufferers. Horrible disease. So much sadness. If I ever end up like my granny I pray euthanasia is legal at that point in time.

Job interview #5: The Phone Interview

Yeah, phone interviews are weird as f*ck. It didn't help that he had me on speaker phone and every time I began to answer a question there was a massive echo in my ear... Not being able to tell when someone is finished talking is also not fun.

I approve of this plan. (Or Limerick. Limerick is good too).

No Im too tired to figure out what that looks like but what I think everyone thinks it looks like wasnt it. This was just weird... Tune into IRC for more details xoxox

Jesus I can't even remember the last time I was on IRC...memories.

Saw the boy today again, and I'm ridiculously happy again. Despite my missing purse, I'm in a damn good mood.

So one of the founders of instagram liked one of my photos today. No biggie.

You know what's weird reading other peoples treads and thinking oh you understand as well the feelings I am plagued with. And strangely it's like a bit of relief collapse upon ones self when they realise there not alone with those thoughts and emotions and it's normal.

It's the worst part about growing up we moan and complain but you never hear how people deal with life. They hide the fact they are vunriable within themselves and it's not their surrounding they bring them down it's the thoughts that remain swimming around inside their head.

I get that completely. I've been really, really depressed lately. Everything seems to be going wrong, the only bright spots are my relationship and my family, and even then it doesn't seem like much. I never understood how people can get through days without needing medication to get them over the hump.

I've pretty much accepted that I'll permanantly be on medication, but the idea of it is horrible. Knowing that I need it to make it through the day, I don't like that.

Damn, not particularly relevant to me at the moment, but damn.

I just spent two hours outside with my dog. She just won't settle. It's not the cold (she's sheltered from the elements), she's loads of food and water. Interesting...

Would it be alright if you brought your sister, Gretel, over? I hear she can bring the whole house down.

So I just got this massive burst of random productivity. I Cleaned my flat from top to bottom for no reason. At midnight.

    I think I'm going crazy.

I just got a booty call text from the girl from my Bday.
I've ignored the text and instead am watching the RoosterTeeth livestream podcast.
Glad to see I've got my priorities right.

I currently share my room with a cat and 3 kittens. They're absolutely adorable but if a kitten pees on my stuff one more time I'm gonna scream!

I feel like a real college person now staying up all night to do an essay.
Also I still dont understand the title or if Im answering it correctly, should I be worried or is this a common thing?

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 7,849 Mod ✭✭✭✭suitcasepink

How much of an essay can be quotes as opposed to youre own writing? Thought I was doing well (858 words bitchezzzz) but then I realised if I took out all the italics.. lol

I'm doing the same thing, w00t! I'm also currently still in college. Kill me.

I dont wanna just be more tired then ever :/ But what else can I do? No one will be awake until forever. I feel like no sleep might screw me over than a teeny bit of sleep?

Anyone here know their way around Dublin?

I need to get to Lower Mount Street (near Merrion Square and Trinity from what I can gather from Google Maps).

I'm thinking train into Heuston and taxi from there? I think Pearse Street Station is closer but Iarnrod Eireann's site suggests getting to Pearse is a bit of a pain.

(Not looking for the cheapest option btw)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,068 ✭✭✭LoonyLovegood

That's your best bet. Pearse is on a different train line.

My entire knowledge of Dublin has been learned from Google Maps...

I grew up there, I'm far, FAR too familiar with the city. Grr.

I'd take the 145 from heuston to Nassau st. And walk the 16 minutes to your destination.

Edited. Cause I went a long way round

I am less than 48 words away from the minimum word count for my essay. I'm so close I can taste it.

My legs are like jelly. Just thought I was about to be booked. Garda bike comes flying up behind me. So I switch lanes and he follows me and slows up behind me then undertakes me looks slightly at the car goes in front blues come on I'm like here we go. slows down in front and then shoots off.
