Pete's son Neil Ferguson arrives in Carrigstown and immediately starts inquiring about the quality of food in Vino's, flirting with Orla. However, when Neil orders lunch, he complains about the food and derides the chef. Yvonne unceremoniously asks Neil to leave, but Neil stands up and offers to show her how a real salad is made. Yvonne then blocks Neil from entering the kitchen.

Pete arrives and is amazed to see his son is the centre of this fracas. Once the shock subsides, though, Pete is delighted. We learn that Neil has been working for a top chef in London, but hurt his hand in the kitchen so is taking a break before heading to Paris.

Meanwhile, Luke attends Judith's surgery, looking for some alone time with her and complaining of a painful disc in his back. Once alone, Luke tells Judith that he never stopped loving her and to stop denying what is between them. Judith once again stands by her man, unprepared to ruin two families over what she describes as Luke's mid-life crisis. Luke has difficulty believing that Judith does not still love him. However, Judith firmly tells Luke to go back to Canada when he approaches her next.

Elsewhere, Finn returns from Poland and clashes with Neasa over changes at The Station, while Damien finds his inner schemer when he manipulates Yvonne into getting the Go2 Guys hired on Luke's new project.

Pete convinces Neil to see a doctor. Judith discovers that Neil's injury is far more serious than he was letting on, and definitely not the by-product of a fridge door accident as he initially claimed. Neil covers and begrudgingly accepts a mere one-week prescription for painkillers. Later, Neil relishes winding up Orla, who is none too pleased that Pete is going to stay at Dolores's place and donate his room to Neil. Neil also asks a couple of locals round to 'his' place later for drinks. Caoimhe is delighted to give Neil her number.

At the party, Neil and Caoimhe flirt outrageously. As the night continues, Pete confronts Neil about his hand injury and Neil confesses that he had a physical fight with the head chef in London - during which he got stabbed in the hand, while the chef ended up in hospital. Neil admits that he won't be returning to London because his reputation there is destroyed.

Meanwhile, Dolores is supportive of Laura's budding romance with Emily. Laura and Emily's date begins awkwardly, with false starts and interruptions. Emily admits that she wants to keep the fact that she's gay quite separate from her professional dealings. But as the date goes on, Laura and Emily find their comfort zone.

Elsewhere, Neasa is left holding the reins at the Station as Finn shows no interest in saving his business, Judith tells Luke that he doesn't have to leave, while Yvonne feels the spark between herself and Luke.

As Neil sets about looking for a place to live, Pete forbids him from sharing the story of his violent debacle in London. When Pete presses Neil on the violent incident in London and indeed his future, Neil lashes out at Pete for being such a hands-off parent until now.

Later, Orla fumes when Neil glibly references her shop-lifting past and more so when she hears from Sean that Neil has planned a second party at her house. Orla urges Pete to stop the party, but Pete digs his heels in and mentions that he is the leaseholder on the premises and if Orla doesn't like it, she can leave. Over dinner, Pete is uncomfortable watching Neil lie with ease about his reasons for leaving London. Pete realises he barely knows his son.

Meanwhile, Lucy is shaken to see that Emily and Laura are dating. Lucy makes a pre-emptive strike by offering the information that she and Emily were in the same year at college. Lucy is dismayed when Dolores seems less sympathetic than last time when she rehearses her lie about Emily bullying her in college. Lucy is relieved when Wayne - who has also heard Lucy's bullying allegation - airs his view that Emily and Laura won't last long.

Elsewhere, Finn decides to make Neasa manager of The Station and concentrate on getting into the paramedic business, Luke awards the Go2Guys the contract to work on his retirement home, but is none too happy when Damien blackmails him for a higher rate on pay, Judith is unsettled to realise Luke will be in town for an additional six months, while Dearbhla finds out that she and Sean want very different things as they plan their year away

Judith told Tommy and Luke that she was pregnant @ the time Luke left for Canada, however, she lost the baby. Luke argues that Neasa is his child and maybe she got dates mixed up but she insists that she lost his baby and that Neasa is Tommy's.

Damien calls to the front door to harass Tommy about Luke's dodgy company and while Tommy is at the front door, Luke is in the kitchen with Judith declaring his undying love for her. He points out that the Dillon girls will support Judith if she leaves Tommy. Then Tommy returns and says Luke would have given her a terrible life cos he is into tax evasion and lots of other scams and his poor wife is being visited by debt collectors etc.

Judith tells the pair of them to stop it and she is staying with Tommy. She makes reference to his "numerous sordid affairs" and after Luke leaves, she breaks down and weeps that she feels she and Tommy have nothing left. All they had were the children and while they were small, she was happy but now...

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Seán and Derbhla Dillon are will we / won't we go to Canada and will Christy keep my job open and being a bit dopey and indecisive.

Orla seems to be working in Vino's and Yvonne is being snippy with her. For some reason, Orla tells her about Seán & Derbhla going to Canada and Luke getting them bar work there. Yvonne asks if he owns a pub there and Orla says she doesn't know but she does know he has fingers in a lot of pies. Yvonne tells her to keep her nose out of Yvonne's business and not to talk to anyone about it. She expects loyalty from her staff. (Not sure quite what that was about, but it would suggest that Orla knows about Yvonne investing in Luke's business.

Can't think of anything else significant right now. You can view it on RTE+1 (an hour later) or maybe try the player?

He was looking at Neasa's birth cert (born 17th Nov 1987). Tommy went upstairs to find it to prove that Neasa was his daughter

I was sure Neassa was going to be Lukes daughter, it's strange that the writers didn't want to take the storyline in this direction.

He was hot when he appeared in 'Clash of the Ash' but the guy still has something. He has a rugged charm about him.
