How did Eddie know there was twice the amount of money in the envelope Luke gave him just by glancing at it? Is he Rainman?
Anytime Eddie is on his own, Decco appears "Go away, I dont want to talk to you", like Decco is his imaginary friend that Eddie has grown out of! They remind me of Ralph and his imaginary friend who used to tell Ralph to burn things

Neasa always looks fantastic. She must have a thing for older men. First Turlough ( prob 20 years older than her ) and now Eddie ( prob 15 years older than her ). Surely she could do better

She'd never make a good gf though, doesn't really have any personality. :P

Omg. Just saw a bit of Raw on Rte for the first time. Liam Heffernan aka Greyie Connors appears, he def only has one setting, he was doing his magic stare to everyone again! No handlebar moustache though.

As always, Neasa was looking well tonight.
No sign of Bella tonight either, which is always a good thing.

I've just watched about five episodes of Sarah and Steve, and y'know, Emmet Kirwan is probably playing an exaggerated version of himself, but he's got great comic timing. It's unfortunate the Fair City writers don't know how to use him properly because I really him in S&S.

This was posted in a thread in after hours, I wonder who it could be...!!
I have been a long-time lurker on this site. I enjoy it, and love hearing the variety of views on different topics. It is a great website, all told.

However, one thing troubles me, and that is the level of humiliation to which some people are exposed on here.

It seems that anyone who appears on Irish television, radio or other media, however briefly and for whatever reason, is fair game is liable to be be commented upon here and criticized for their appearance, weight, mannerisms etc.

Ireland is a very small country and this is proportionally a very popular website. I hate reading ugly or mean comments about people when I know there is a very good chance that they, their partners, family or friends might be reading too.

I just wondered how others feel about this. Has any attempt ever been made to curtail it? Or do you see it as an unavoidable by-product of our relative freedom of discourse on the internet?

Well Zack is the one who called her a Fat Tart in the first place!

Young Zak upon hearing of his Dad's affair with Jo Fahey said to him

" you had an affair with that FAT TART!!!"

It's easily one of the greatest one liners in the shows comical history!!

I would advise presenters and actors to avoid boards.ie but I believe they can handle it, also recently reading this thread has become fairly laid back with some comments that might annoy but generally nice friendly criticism of actual viewers. We haven't had a rant in a while.

I do think if you are on a reality TV show like come dine with me posters could be a bit more sensitive. I doubt people from Tallifornia on the other hand care.

Why was the post in AH about Jo? I would have thought it was about famous people in general?

Yeah, I doubt it was about Jo, but the Fat Tart line just popped into my head when I read it! :D

Haha I'd say of the FC cast were watching that it'd have been awkward enough with Jo there :P
