If there's a nicer estate car than this currently on sale, I've yet to see it.

Did anyone spot Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and Ferrari 458 Spider outside Mansion House at Dawson Street in Dublin city centre ? There was also Aston Martin and Corvette i think ? I couldn't go :( I think it was yesterday or today :D

No, but I had the pleasure of driving a 458 Italia last weekend. Had it for a whole hour. Dream machine, F1 gearbox is just perfect...

Needs the right wheels though. Seen one quite a few times just on the standard wheels (17's) and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as that one.

Myself and 166 man caused a traffic jam taking a picture of that 911. Lovely car.

Dropped into the Terenure Classic Car show today for a little while. I didn't stay long though. Here are a few select pictures...

Mercedes C124's (and an A124) - Three of these were in the car park! Some nice stuff outside the show area. There was one C124 in the Mercedes Club stand but it was a bit OTT for my taste. The stand had quite a few W124's and a lot of W123's though.

Was in Terenure myself... I will post some photos later when i choose the best ones :D 448 photos 16 photos less than last year.. but this year i was late a little bit and when i came there was a lot of people and it was hard to take some photos... I was waiting until the show is finish to have some better photos of Jaguar XJ220 and hear it and see it driving... After 6 years of my spotting carrer I finally saw it... :) So happy today :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,817 ✭✭✭✭Dord

I skipped the Jag stand and made a b-line for the Merc's and VW's as you can see. :pac: It was a great turn out today, much better than previous years. If I had more time I'd stick around longer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,072 ✭✭✭keithsfleet

How did I manage to miss the xj220, the jag stand was first place we hit.
Herself got a good few decent pictures, she brought her camera so I didn't really bother, with the exception of 1 or 2 cars, taking any pictures on the phone.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,499 ✭✭✭porsche959

I couldn't find the Xj220 either. Where was it?

XJ220 weren't on the stand where F-Type was... It was on the other Jaguar stand - close to Triumph stand (when you stay in the Trimph stand i have that little hill behind you, you should see Jaguar stand and XJ220 :)

Great pics Marcinek_55! I really like the old Porsche 365 with the DL plate, seen it at Mondello as well.

I was out lastnight and didn't get going home before going to the show so no pics from me this year :(

It's BMW 507 produced by BMW from 1956 to 1959. I saw it in RDS earlier this year but i don't know any car which looks better indoor than outdoor.

Isn't that the one owned by Frank Keane?

There was Frank Keane book behind a window when this was in RDS but i don't know who own it.

Hi I'm Brian, long time lurker first time poster here. I've been a petrol head my whole life thanks to my family and have always enjoyed car shows but only recently got a decent camera. Here's a few shots from Terenure yesterday.

There's more photos from yesterday on my flickr page as well as some other stuff you may be interested in such as the Connacht Veteran and Vintage Motor Club main run 2013, this years Gordon Bennett, the Porsche exhibition in Linz and the Technical Museum in Vienna.

I saw an XJ220 many years ago in Haynes motor museum Somerset so was more interested in the gorgeous XK120 beside it but the little yellow Honda was my favourite car there since I'd never seen one before.
