Is it just the colour combo of that R8 or have they dated really badly. The blue contrasting with the silver just looks disgusting. It reminds me of a skanger runner from the early 90's.

Couldnt disagree more. I actually think its the best combo on R8 - Sepang Blue with the silver sideblade and high gloss alloys. Yum!
