I've a few pics that I could upload but they ain't great quality, I'll make sure to get a few during the week. In the last week I honestly lost count of the amount of AMGs (a few of which were C63 Blacks), ISFs, M3 and M5s, saw one 435i, loads of GTRs and there's one dealer that has an LFA and an Aventador in the window.

Ya I wasn't sure, don't know much about AMGs but it just looked like a pram with a badge.

My mothers previous car was a CLC 09, 'twas the 200 with the 2.2 engine that I assume is the same in that one. It was the slowest bleedin car ever! She's since got a 1.6 diesel CLA which I've yet to even see and she said it's much faster than the CLC

Does it have an AMG badge, that makes it faster regardless of engine mods

the AMG badge is to do with the AMG kit that was probably ordered as an extra on the car .... AMG isn't only about the flagship 55 & 63 versions of the engines.

the AMG options on the C-Class (not engine obviously) can weigh in at up to €10k .. not to be sniffed at

But there is no c200 amg so why should there be an AMG badge?
Just because they specced some AMG kit?

My e60 has msport suspension and a few other m sport bits, should I stick an "m sport" sticker on the back? :rolleyes:

Well if you order the M sport package on a BMW there are "M" logos in various different places including the steering wheel, gear stick, door sill, etc.. so if someone wants to have the "M" badge on the rear of their 520 I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it? They're not trying to deceive anyone into thinking that their car is something it's not like an M5 badge would.

Same goes for a C200 with the AMG kit. I personally prefer no badges at all

Its a pity I can't do photos lads because I parked beside a silver 03 Lincoln Town Car this evening. I checked the tax disk on it and it was a 4.6L and was 1,800-odd quid to tax. It looked so out of place in the car park where it dwarfed everything around it.

They're one hell of a barge those yokes!!
