Not a great pic as it was on the GoPro at the end of the day, but all three together was impressive. Not too sure of the red panel with the grey however.

Spotted today, was on Japanese plates, not sure what type of car it is but I'm guessing it's a old gtr because of the mirrors

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,720 ✭✭✭Hal1

    Mk1 toyota celica?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,721 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

Looks Datsun, certainly not a GT-R, nor a Skyline of any sort.
    Also looks like squished KE10.

I'm really not sure what it is.

    100% not an RX# or a Celica.

Rx2 are a quad lamp car, the one above is a standard setup and looks a lot squishier.
Rear lights, vents and side lights are also different.

Dude its clearly an RX of some sort!!

Don't get bogged down by the shape of the lights.. Look at the overall shape of the car; the window lines, the bonnet, the sloping boot....

Its like the standard nissan micra and the Retro/Roll Royce shaped micra ... different lights, different bumper etc but still a Micra! ;)

I'd actually put money on it! :)

But all of the Jap sports car from the 60's/70's look the same. :p

It's really annoying me, that's a Cosmo badge on the back too but it's definitely not a Cosmo.
    Some ****ing troll. :p

And you're thinking of Mitsuoka, the mad coach builders that turned an S13 into this.

When we talking about old japanese cars. I spend last 10 days on Tenerife and there was a few old japanese and european cars. Much more than in any other country in europe and only few supercars. But i didn't take a photos of any of those cars except one - it was my relax holidays not a spotting holidays. There was only Ferrari 355 Spider, Maserati Quatroporte on Italian plates, C63 AMG and CLS55/63 AMG.

That the only one car photo i took. Some old Mazda driving down from el Teide Volcano. Wondering howhe get there, the car i had couldn't drive up.... 1st and 2nd gear while drive up and 3rd/4th on flat moments...
    scOWaA0.jpg

And my joke... Little sh*t car but lots of fun because it was rented with full insurance. Rent car is the fastest car in the world....

The Fairlady lives down the road from me.
The owner has a Celica ST202, DC5 and a few other yokes come and go.

Seen a silver Chevrolet camaro on the quays last night and today seen a 131 D Porsche Panamera on Merrion place. Its seem to me that Lombard street is the best place to spot some nice cars.
