But last year list didn't have a Jag XJ220 or Bugatti EB110. Last year was first where all the cars which were "accepted" were taking part of Cannonball.

My mistake, it was the year before in Mondello that they were supposed to be there. I looked all over for them on the day and was thinking they weren't there due to the rain.

Nice cossy. First time I noticed this, the suspension sits fairly high compared to more modern sport version of cars.

Are there some sort of chrome trims fitted to the doors and rear quarter panels on the Escort? Kinda cheapens the look of it IMO :(

    Loving the RS4 though! :D

Cl65 and yeah she's had some work done. Working in a garage that does a lot of upgrading and performance engines and the likes.
Alloys are on order. From where I don't know.
There's a r32 ( yes the real deal) in garage aswell for a bigger turbo. The noise off it as it is is fcukin orgasmic.
Il get pics if it tomoro :)

Only in the door and havnt yet got round to sorting all todays Worthersee pics but this machine needs sharing because it's the talk of the show. Audi pulled the wraps off her this morning on their massive stand and the crowds were massive all day and rightly so. Tak a brand new Audi TT, add a 5 Cylinder engine and TWO electronic turbo's, Quattro 4WD and you end up with the mental 600 BHP Audi TT Clubsport Concept

how would an electronic turbo work?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,882 ✭✭✭frozenfrozen

like an air compressor. might as well be called electric supercharger since they aren't spooled by exhaust at all

As has been said it's basically a turbo that can be spooled up to maxium capacity almost instantly thus eliminating lag and providing performance truly at will. The stats on the yoke are crazy. For a Turbo charger 2.5L the top speed is quoted at over 190 mph and 0-60 at 3.2 seconds. Of course the Audi press team rolled out a professor to give a little more details "The electric biturbo signifies a new dimension in driving enjoyment; it boosts sprinting ability and torque and enables high peak power. In our TDI engines, we are close to production readiness with this technology. We are now presenting it in a TFSI -- here too, we are the first automaker in the world to do this.
