    In the mid 70s there was an industrial complex at the back of where I lived in London. There was a guy who seemed to be based there with gullwing. He said that he wanted to sell it and he wanted either £10,000 or £12,000. Thr guy I worked for at teh time was into slightly non run of the mill cars and I suggested it to him. The reaction was something like 'What, all that money for an old Mercedes?'

    Vauxhall Monaro VXR.. As far as I remember they have featured on Top Gear a few times.. Have never seen one around Ireland before!

    Fund-Racer event today at Mondello Park. Few good cars around. I have been there only half day but have to say it was my highlight of the day. Porsche Carrera GT on the track. Great noise.

    That Porsche Carrera GT (N8 ARA) was around the Tipperary/Kilkenny border yesterday (refuelling).
    I didnt think they were as big of a car, or as amazing!!

    i think there are a couple of pickup versions on irish plates as they get the cheap commercial road tax.. the saloon version i see local is owned by a garage so he is covered to drive and hold uk reged cars:D
