So what I can declare my car as a limo and then get 95e?
Also re the address off the mainland, I believe that the car is then not.allowed to be used within the country?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭el diablo

No, he bought that for Walt Jr and Skyler went ape-sh!t. The scene above is when Skyler told him to take it back to the dealership.

Walt Snr eventually got the black Chrysler 300 SRT8 ;)

Yep, I know it was belonging to Walt Jr. but my main memory of the Challenger was Walt joyriding in it. :)

    We're all in this psy-op together.🤨

You have to have a PSV licence and insure the car as a taxi / limo. Your insurance will most likely double negating any savings on tax.

Also taxis have to be less than 10 years old now so there's no point in going out and buying an older luxobarge although you may get away with that with the limo status (think vintage wedding cars, etc.).

Oh yeah, you'll also need to have a registered business and tax clearance cert.

    Basically it's not worth it.

    That's the easy bit.
The insurance, which means you lose your private NCB and open a commercial policy etc, yearly NCT, and associated extras that along with PSV's mean you would likely see no savings.

There was a nice GT there too. I'll try to get a few more pics up later, my "broadband" is painfully slow right now.

Caught this beaut while out shopping the other day. Literally one of my dream cars. The owner was a pure gent and i never thought to get video but the sound of it when running/revved. Automotive porn.

1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang. Otherwise known as The "Eleanor" car.

Straight in from Italy I believe. It was actually the owners first time driving the car here in Ireland.

Looks like a great turnout at both today.

Does the F40 belong to the same guy with the Countach, Miura, etc?

In Mondello yesterday supporting the SEAT Supercup car we are sponsoring. Spotted this bad boy in the car park. 151 D plate. I'm a big Audi fan but was a bit underwhelmed with the S8. IMO not much presence for €130k

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,177 ✭✭✭Stallingrad

That Audi looks like a scaled up A4, where as the new C-class looks like a scaled down S-class. One approach works, the other doesn't.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,721 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

That's probably because it looks like an A4.

I think there are two different guys that bring the likes of those cars in to C&C Limerick. I'm really not sure which of them own which though.

    There only 72g/km ;)

Was told jp mcmanus's (the horse guy?) brother owns f40 and GT this weekend. Has a collection of rare cars by sounds of it.

Think someone here mentioned that the Miura and Countach belong to him too, he seems to be buying a lot of classics and building a collection.
