You could have just asked me!!! From the assumptive conclusions you have reached, am I to assume that I am not a sane person? :)

    Is this really yours?

As for the sane thing, most of the people I know who could afford a high end car like that wouldn't touch one not registered in Dublin, I ve even had bother selling normal cars to dubs because of them not being registered there, hence my assumption. In which case I was wrong to make assumptions.

Anyway on a side note, how did you manage to get the car onto the ferry? I usually end up catching the floor at least once or twice every trip and my car ain't anywhere as low as yours.

Steve, how does this compare to your previous super cars? Am I right in thinking this is one of the last manuals?

    Cockpit of the current Tesla

Wasn't impressed by the build quality at all as this was my first time to have a proper look at the car. Door handles are very cool but door felt light and 'cheap' Interior is nice, seats are fantastic. I regret to say however you can forget it if you are over 6ft, I felt cramped and couldn't enter or exit without my knee's hitting the wheel. Touch screen is very good but a magnet for fingerprints :P

No need to explain..i did put a smiley on the reply.
As to getting on and off the ferry, this car has a lift system on the front suspension, which raises the front end from it's normal clearance of 3 inches to just under 5 inches. Even at that they had to position rubber ramps and guide me on, so it just about made it.

Thank you, I don't think he has replaced his Diablo with anything, definitely not an LP640, this is the first one to be registered in Ireland

Compare? Well I guess it is fair to say pretty well, every car is different, but this thing really is an impressive drive, the performance is epic, and it steers and stops as good as it looks.

A couple from recent days, the trike looked impressive, even if its not my cup of tea. The Evo (Mk 4??) had "MR" badging if that means anything

A little off-topic but did you hear Gumball 3000 start in Dublin next year ? Time to find a team to go for a road trip with :D

Found these when resurrecting my photobucket account...taken a few years ago in Taipei, the pickup was dragged backwards and pushed forwards with the forklift and the car lifted up in order to paint the motorcycle parking spaces, they did the same thing all down the street, won't imagine it's recommended in the owners manual....

Visited a factory in China close to Tangu port this week, new cars are taken from the port in these "super" car transporters, unloaded and then dumped wherever they find space until someone drives them to the dealership. Not unusual to see a truck driver with the seat back sleeping or else smoking in someones brand new Range Rover. The length of the transporters is crazy, huge turning circles required. For a time transporters with a double wide top deck were used but I assume they were a step too far and have been banned. Adding a 30ft or 40ft overhang to the back of your already 50ft trailer seems to be fine and legal though!

I'd say they are the real deal - the ones with money wouldn't be seen with anything but "western" products, the more expensive the better. Dogs with two Apple watches kinda crack (not sure if that was a wind up or not, didn't follow it). Conspicuous consumption to the max like.

They're all the real deal, some built in Chinese plants some imported from overseas. I seen a batch of Maserati's arrive as I was leaving, have another chance to get some photo's tomorrow, hopefully something exciting will be delivered for the weekend!

I was surprised to actually discover a nice car. A lot of room. Very nice interior. The screen size still baffles me, but why not. It does its job.

    tesla_picsQuick video too
Its... brown? Someone bought a Model S and asked for brown?

They are real. China is exploding at the moment. I was in Porsche and Audi in Beijing, and they had non-stop sales the entire time I was there. Panamera is the Nissan Sunny of Beijing now :pac:
