A few photos below. Taken on my phone so quality is not great. These Zondas were in reception and the only place we were allowed take photos. I believe the Zonda R is the one Clarkson drove a couple of years ago on the TG track. The silver one is a very early production model.

The tour was €25 per person and included the body panel fabrication facility and assembly. Seeing the carbon fibre panels being made was very interesting and also feeling the weight of some panels and the mirror housing was incredible.

Pagani are in the process of moving to a new facility which is about two minutes drive from their current factory (which is quite small). The new facility will have a showroom and far more room for production.

We were also brought to the new facility which is partly finished. They recently moved assembly up there. Surprisingly, they are still making the Zonda and there were two being assembled along with two Huayras.

The level and detail and the workmanship is second to none. It's hard to argue that their cars aren't worth north of €1m before options and taxes.

Unfortunately we didn't see Horacio. He's very hands-on and is always in and out of the production area. We were told he was there that day, but I guess we were unlucky.

It's well worth a visit if you're in the area and can be booked via their website. Booking well in advance is essential.

outside Drogheda yesterday I saw what looked like an immaculate Jensen Interceptor MK III in a pale metallic ble .. but when I went up to have a proper look it's actually a Jensen Interceptor R .. as in this rebuild

could it be classified as a sleeper ? as I have driven the standard MKIII and they are very sluggish especially with the Autobox but this one .. 450bhp !!
